Monday
So, there was a weekend. Thursday night was R&R (I'm not impressed by the person taking the class, TBPH), followed by the Round (which was relaxing and quite fun). Friday
atreic and I went ringing, and I managed Cambridge and Steadman without needing to look things up - this is reassuring!
Saturday I did a bit of house-tidying, some organisational stuff, and played Angband (more of which in a separate post), and felt ill. I made dinner, and drove to
antinomy and
acronym's party, since I wasn't really up to going out at all. Definitely glad I made the effort, though.
Yesterday started with the traditional Sunday religion things (which I shan't bore you with the details of), and was later spent trying to wrestle the network into shape so
claroscuro can use her old laptop in her room. The route from ming (center of the network, and all-round server/router/firewall) to her laptop now looks like:
(there's some 802.11b between secnet-spur and dam-secnet, but we do VPN over that for obvious reasons ;)
And so today I'm back in work, hoping to have another productive week. Off to Ballroom fast-track tonight, where I have a book to give
rmc28, and then home to make a (late) dinner for
atreic
