Lots of dammit things today.

Firstly, the car is funted (water pump is broken), so I have to get the train back to Cambridge tommorow - extra time (lots), extra cost too. And much pain, due to having to carry the suitcase I'm taking away with me through the Underground system.

Second, the guest house seems confused as to when I'm going to arrive - will have to ring them if they don't reply to my email. And I though enough had gone wrong in that regard!

Third, one of Kt's friends is about to emigrate to .us, so she's not going to be in Cambridge on Thursday or Friday, so not only will she not get to meet people in generaly, but I'm going to get all of a few hours with her before I go away for the rest of the month :(

Fourth, mother+I are getting really quite snappy towards each other; I'm actually very glad I'm about to go away for ages.

On the up, parents have said they will pay for evening meals while I'm away too (this is an unexpected bonus). And I will actually get to see KT tommorow, even if briefly. Now, however, I should go to bed.
