Tcah. Back in late April, I nagged HSBC about my interest-free overdraft limit, since their own bumpf suggested I was entitled to 2K UKP interest-free. This was OK, and I thought no more of it.
Last month, I got a letter from them saying "to confirm our arrangement that you have 1.5k interest free, can go up to 2k UKP, but we'll charge you". So today, I rang them up and muttered that they'd f***ed up. They spoke to the Cambridge branch, and said "Oh, sorry, we've sent you the wrong letter. It's been 2K interest-free since 1st May. We'll send you a new letter".
I am filled with confidence, but at least have my overdraft sorted :)
