Well, I only had to be here between 9 and 10.30 :-)
The rest of the day has been spent in getting useful if unexciting things done. Including sorting out an application to the Wellcome Trust for a research training fellowship. Scary, eh?
The research group and I seemed to like each other, and I have a project in mind now - we "just" need to secure funding. They're trying to get dept. funding for the project, and I'm trying to get a Wellcome Trust personal fellowship.
Saturday was the first Hodie rehersal (very difficult for me), and then home. Sunday, I saw the ven. Clive Mansell installed as archdeacon of Tonbridge in Rochester cathedral, and then headed back to Cambridge.
Tonight, I'm off to Credo? Where Sir David Harrison is talking about "Public Life and Personal Values" which should be good. I'm remarkably tired already though, despite much sleep recently.
