We went to Peterborough today, and after last week, I wanted to take things a little easier. I started with a couple of not-hugely-difficult routes, and managed to get up them feeling like I was using a bit of technique, and not just brute strength; I did a sitting start for the first time, too. That improved my confidence, so I did an overhangy green route in one corner, and then went up the arete three times (the middle one with a more reachy start), and messed around with a couple of dynos. The evening was rounded off with a traverse along the upper corridor (good for being technical, whilst not too heavy strength-wise), and then far too many chin-ups, which strangely exercised some abdominal muscles.

A really good evening, though I fear there may be pain tomorrow :)

I need a climbing icon, I think. Any suggestions?
