emperor at 06:11pm on 06/01/2008We had a few friends over for dinner yesterday, and I cooked lamb (followed by Christmas pudding), we had Christmas crackers, and suchlike. I had fun, and I hope the guests did, even if I did ignore them to chop veg for rather longer than intended!
It seemed to be about the right size of gathering, so I might do something similar next year. We shall see - getting people free this close to Christmas required some careful logistics (and an initial email sent out in September!)
