Saturday saw me fighting through floods and replacement bus services to get to Oxford for a TS committee meeting (which actually went quite well), and then a very nice meal in a lebanese restaurant in Oxford. Got home too late to attend [livejournal.com profile] j4 and Sion's eating-up-cake party (Oh, and Sarah apologises to [livejournal.com profile] j4 for being incoherant on the 'phone, and failing to remember what message to pass on).

Sunday, I made roast cow for lunch (which was quite challenging - I've not done it single-handed before); it went quite well, although our oven appears a bit weedy, and the cow was a bit rarer than I intended, but people seemed to like it anyway.I was quite pleased with how it all worked out. Then we played games, and had takeaway dinner, and methodists turned up and drank coffee (and we played Mao).

Today, I have arranged to see my quack on Friday, and am hosting an epiphany-party tonight. If you read this LJ, feel free to turn up (I can provide directions if needed)...
