2017 was rather a marking time year for climbing - I didn't get outside at all, and didn't advance any of my grades (looking through my notes, I climbed 6b+ on top rope (including at least one on-sight), 5+ on lead; this compares with my best of 7a top-rope 6b lead (6a lead onsight), and makes me even more frustrated that the 6c project I was working on in December got re-set before I managed to get it cleanly.. I only managed to get climbing at Harlow 34 times this year - choir took what felt like quite a lot of Wednesday evenings.
I have some sport climbing booked for 2018, and hopefully will manage a couple of trad trips as well. I think I'd like to see if I can get my grades a bit closer to my previous bests, too...
