Firstly, you need to use the beta of Macamp lite, which is freely available here since the company concerned went bust. Note the older release version won't do.

You then need to ignore the CUR1350 website, and point your macamp at the URL
http://cur.chu.cam.ac.uk:8000/cur.ogg

...and all should be well!

I mention this here only because it was causing me much pain trying to get the OGG stream to work.

Out of curiosity, have you tried MPlayer? When I use it I get some strange sounds that might indicate that it would work if it had more bandwidth.
