[aside: I'm not sure why the web client is always 24h ahead, but...]

Well, I was going to go to vicky's flatwarming, drink little, and get to bed early. Then Dan turned up with Absinthe, and all was doom. I must have drunk 1/3 - 1/2 a bottle of the 70% stuff, and feel rather drunk now. Now I must write intercessions for tommorow...

because you're posting using mozilla ;-) it's a bug. look how, when you start it, for a second or so it has the right date, and then it changes to 24 hours ahead.

Ah, that explains it then. *sigh* you wouldn't have thought that sort of thing would be *difficult* to write, would you? :-/

Justin [livejournal.com profile] stgpcm says it's a bug in Mozilla that's triggered by Britain having had a year with Summer Time and Double Summer Time rather than GMT and Summer Time back in the 1970s. I think he's serious - at least he had his "serious" face on when he told me, not his "I'm pulling your plonker" grin...

Really? That's bizarre. Can they not just ignore that and give us the correct date in the 2000s?
