Last night I went to a concert of Alta Capella music by Les Haulz et les Bas at Little St Mary's Church. It was an interesting and varied programme of music for Shawm, bombard, slide trumpet, trombone and bagpipes (not all at once!), and most of the works were introduced. I felt the trombonist let them down somewhat at times, but that's being picky - I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

This being Freshers' week, I'm being let back into the studio again. There's going to be an Early Music Show this thursday, between 5 and 6pm BST on CUR1350. I hope you can tune in!
