Work has acquired a negative-scanning device, so I thought I'd give it a try with some of my photographs which pre-date me getting things put onto photoCD at point of development. These ones are from a visit to Kew gardens in 2000; alas, the developers didn't provide those little plastic containers for the negatives, so they've suffered somewhat in the intervening five years.

If there are any horticulturalists reading who can identify the plants, please let me know :)

"negative-scanning device" sounded to me like a circuitous way of describing a printer :)

0001 is a bird of paradise, and 0006 is bamboo of some sort. I did used to know what 0002 and 0005 were, but they slip my memory.

0006 doesn't look like a bamboo, the leaves join the stem like they do on corn. It may be Arundo Donax.
