LSM (my church) are putting on a couple of ghost stories by M. R. James. Alas, we're desperately short of men. If you're free on 17th June (evening) and 18th June (afternoon), and would be interested in taking part, please comment below (or email me).

I think the scripts are really good, and not all the parts are very big...

Edit: The stories are "The stalls of Barchester" and "Tractate Middoth"

For some parts. Others would be best as men, I suspect. Also, we could generally use a few more people...

Hmmm... maybe. I like M.R. James as an author but I've got a feeling I'll be busy that weekend. Poke me in about a week and I'll have an answer.

Is there not likely to be a problem about making rehersals, given you're in Nodnol?

*thinks about this for a second*

Oh yeah. Doh! I didn't think about rehersals...

"Tractate Middoth"? That sounds more H.P. Lovecraft than M.R. James, frankly...

Um. I am vaguely sort of free (as in I could free myself up on the Friday night, while Saturday is clear), but rehearsals are likely to be an issue with my generic lack of time. Ping me if you get truly desperate.
