From time to time, #chiark regulars will have seen me plugging Count Your Sheep. I thought it was about time LJers got the same treatment. Thankfully, someone has compiled an excellent plug for the strip here, so have a look at that to see why you want to be reading this webcomic.

Todays comic has an imaginary penguin friend in it, I like it :)

...okay, small world syndrome...how did you find [livejournal.com profile] spectralbovine's plug, if you don't mind my asking?

Today's CYS had a link to it.

It's not bad - however, it suffers somewhat from a small set of jokes being repeatedly repeated when the author is lacking inspiration of what to do next.

The actual comics are quite funny, but MY GOD it's a pain to sift them out of the drivellous fan-art and other guff interspersed with them in the archives. I don't suppose you know of any sensible way to read just the actual CYS strips?

Sorry, I just ploughed through it all - there's less rubbish later on, IIRC.

Yeah, keep at it. The interspersed material gets much better after a while. They basically turn into nice one-panels or nifty sketches.

As far as sensible, you can always manually just click MWF on the calendar.
