I've just killed my first two ancient dragons (one white, one red), which feels like something of a milestone. I also found an artifact helmet (fnar), that provides a useful stat boost. For some reason, potions of constitution are proving elusive, and I really need to get that sorted. I'm also currently a bit worried about the concept of fighting AMHDs - my melee isn't really all that good against ancient dragons, and it'll resist everything except magic missile currently :-/
I guess I should sell some of the ego weapons I'm storing at home at some point, maybe if a Speed-thing appears in the black market. Also, why does fire always trash my Sorcery and Evocations? I'm having a bit of a struggle keeping myself adequately stocked...

You might want to consider toting more crossbow bolts. With unenchanted basic Bolts, it will do (1d5 + 21) * 4 = 88-104 damage per hit.

(Yes, if you get stat drained, you would become vulnerable to theft again, but I think that that is an acceptably low risk until you get into Time Hound territory; Time attacks sometimes zap all six stats simultaneously, ignoring sustains, for more than the normal amount knocked off by a stat drain.)
