Jon and Sarah's wedding was really quite special. I've not been to a wedding since I used to sing the choir, either. Sarah came in quite late (but was apparantly waiting for relatives to arrive); it was a great service, with communion for all that wanted it (which worked really well, despite my initial skepticism). I got to read as well, which was cool.
Had to dash off to set up the reception, so missed the photos (which was a shame, but there you go). Lots and lots of champagne (still got quite a lot at Foundation.)and a fair bit of food too. Best man's speech (Jon's life a la Winnie the Pooh) was pretty funny too. Eventually went off for curry with many people, which was good but a bit hot, then to Relativity for a bit. Sloped off home feeling knackered around midnight, to find Jon and Sarah still unwrapping wedding presents!
St. Bene't's this morning for Communion, then over to Wesley to meet Methssssoc, and to the Free Press for lunch.Tonight, I am cooking dinner for Jon, Sarah, Carys and Matthew (Sarah's brother). Need to try and make the living room look presentable - this is tough given how much of J+S's junk is still there.
