[angband] woo :)

I just killed Boldor, king of the Yeeks, and shortly afterwards found a potion of experience, which levelled me twice. A definite plus :)
I surpassed a previous character of mine (5th on the score-chart) on turn 1421083 (it died on turn 1512431), so my "aggressive" play has only saved me 6% of my turns.

How deep can I sensibly go without rBasic covered?

You absolutely need rbase by the time you start getting Mature elemental dragons. Remind me which version you're playing and I'll snaffle a source tree to better advise you :)

My understanding is that you need rbase and free action by lvl 20 (and probably see invis by about that point too), and then rpoison by about lvl40. The higher resists mostly seem to be needed for specific threats, although rblind (or rlight + rdark) and rconf seem good for spell-casters.
