Yesterday was a little disappointing work-wise, but today has been much better. I finished re-doing the figures for the chapter I drafted last week, and made some further changes in the light of MFH's comments, so that chapter is now added to the "for CRW to look at" pile. I also wrote a little over 2k words on the last "meat" chapter of the thesis, which is about the software library I wrote, and am releasing. That includes a rant about why you should aim to only use free software (in the FSF sense) for doing scientific work, which was fun to do. Good progress :)

I also frobbed Removal companies' websites, and have two companies coming to visit to give me a quote.

This evening will be the graduate discussion group at Selwyn, and then I'm leading compline (so I'd better make sure my singing voice is behaving!).

The only fly in the ointment today is the news that doctors suspect my gran may be developing early Parkinson's disease, and has been prescribed Sinemet to help with her stiffness.
