We do have an aeriel, one in our flat which is buried beneath a bookshelf or four (we don't use it) and some inside the equipment (I think our video recorder at least has one). We actually own three video recorders, a small TV and a DVD recorder, plus a number of (probably extinct by now) computer TV cards. That's fine - all they need is a letter from us promising we won't use them to receive.
I only found that out by phoning them and asking direct. I don't think they publicise it much ;)
