If anyone is considering going to the RSC production of King Lear, act NOW. I think I just booked the last pair of tickets for any performance (!). There are some singles left, though.

At my works Christmas do (mid-December) the wife of a work friend was saying that she couldn't get any group tickets for either Lear or Merry Wives the Musical for her English class. They have by all accounts been extremely popular.

Considering that full members get about four weeks priority booking before associate members can book, and they get two weeks priority booking before the general public can book there are a lot of tickets sold before booking even opens.

Both of those productions have some big names attached to them.
