Last week was unremarkable; I worked too many hours, and anaesthetised many things. Successfully doing a paravertebral block on a cow unsupervised (despite never having done one before) was quite an achievement, though.

The weekend was good. I went home on Friday after finishing at the department. Saturday, we (==me+parents) went to Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow, The Sanctuary, and Woodhenge; the weather was great, and hopefully I have some plausible photos too :) In the evening we went to see the film of "The Importance of Being Earnest", which was great; OTOH I am a bit of a Wilde fan...

Yesterday, we stopped by Vinopolis on the way back to Cambridge; it was a little badly organised, but pretty interesting and certainly quite fun.

Absolutely nothing wrong with being a Wilde fan! Looks like that film's worth seeing then, pending time and tuits. (Oh, and yeah. I read this journal sometimes. Hope you don't mind.)
