Well, that was quite a weekend! Thank you to everyone who came, and also for the presents!

The weather wasn't ideal on Saturday, but that didn't stop a couple of games of croquet, and some BBQing happening, as well as the usual drinking (including the gin/lemon juice/fizzy wine cocktails), eating (mostly of BBQd dead animal), and talking (mostly rubbish in my case ;). There was some game-playing, too, but I seemed to mostly miss that.

I managed to make it up on Sunday in time to take a couple of people to church, whilst atreic took care of the less religiously-inclined. We rustled up lunch for the 8 of us who remained at that point, and eventually drifted outside for another game or two of croquet, and another BBQ for dinner. It was a shame we'd not had better weather on the Saturday, but the lazy Sunday afternoon was something I need more of in my life, I think!

By the end of this evening, I think the house might be tidy again, too :-)
