promiscuous homosexual sex is an act of following Christ because Jesus challenged heteronormativity.

I know you're not saying you believe this, but if you could shed any light on what this means I'd be very interested.

It's a rough summary of a certain brand of queer theology I don't know a lot about and have mainly hard about in rebuttals of it by more orthodox gay theologies.

Elizabeth Stuart has written that monogamy and marriage are both aspects of patriarchy and so in her liberationist theology she argues that they should be reject by Christians.
