*hugs*. you know my views on the matter. and while i can sympathise with the feelings of both sides (well, yours and kate's, at any rate, and am genuinely sorry that both of you are feeling hurt and mistreated) the simple fact of what is written in the constitution should be enough to settle the matter for once and for all. i really don't think one can suggest that this is in extremis. (equally i think getting the proctors involved would be bad news).
