I failed to get up in time to go and picket, but I did make it to the beer festival for lunch.

1. White Duck (Red Brewery; 4.8%). IPA-style beer, notes of grapefruit. Not bad on a summer day.
   
2. Grapefruit (St Peter's; 4.7%). Smelled distinctly of grapefruit, didn't taste so much of grapefruit. I think would have been a bit much had I not had it with food.
   
3. Raspberry Wheat (Son of Sid; 5.5%). Well balanced beer, good for a sunny day.
   
4. Old Fellow IPA (Fellows; 7.2%). Strong, hoppy IPA. I wasn't as keen on this as I expected; somehow the hops didn't quite work for me.
   
5. Prince of Denmark (Harveys; 7.5%). 1/3. Very dark, but not really balanced enough for my liking - needed some more bitterness to balance the alcoholic sweetness
   
6. Sombrero (Elephant School; 4.5%). Supposedly a Saison brewed with passion fruit and chia seeds, but the result was much less interesting, although still a refreshing summer beer.
