Okay, this is why I never learned to play bridge. (grin)

I got a headache just thinking about all that.

The only card game I ever really played (other than solitaire) was hearts. We used to play it backstage at the theater when I was in college. Anytime we were doing a show, there was always a running hearts game going in the background.

I like the whist-like stage of bridge but, yeah, whist's more at my level, along with rummy variants: bridge defeats me once one gets into bidding systems. With poker I get no more advanced than five-card draw.
