emperor at 10:53pm on 23/09/2001Well Oxonmoot was good generally, and I'm not another year older.
But I've gone and done the falling-for-unavailable-people-thing again. This time for a beautiful German. We hugged more-than-friendly-ly at the end of my birthday party, and our eyes met over lunch the next day, but they've gone back to Germany now, and I feel far more depressed than I should do.
Oh well.

You're in the United Kingdom, no?
The UK is a hell of a lot closer to Germany than Germany is to the U.S., where I'm at, or better yet, Seattle, on the other side of the planet from Germany. You can make a weekend trip to Germany, whereas I have to scrape and save up for a year to get over there.
It could be worse.
