Recently, I plugged a webcomic here, apparantly with some success. Today, I want to plug something rather more substantial to you. Specifically, The Law West of Ealing Broadway (available on LJ as
west_of_ealing). As described in his first post, he's a lay magistrate in South-East England. His blog is a fascinating insight into this aspect of the English legal system, and a welcome change from how the tabloids portray magistrates.
The blog contains apposite quotes relating to law and order, interesting trivia, some pointers as to what goes on in court, a series of funny stories, as well as some more or less amusing anecdotes that make you think, and a few opportunities to play judge.
Oh, and one for
antinomy :)
Anyway, all highly recommended.
