Not a bad session at P'boghorror yesterday. There was a hairy moment where I fell off the arrete, caught myself by one hand, and as I was dangling there wondering whether I could hold on or just needed lowering down, heard some frantic belaying-instructions being given to the person on the other end of the rope. I'm fine, but it was a bit alarming.

I managed a couple of good climbs, including a tricky blue route, and there are a couple of things I think I might manage next time, with a bit of luck;

bofhcam gave me a tip for the one move on the arete (features only) that was defeating me, too.

How did you get on with your airline complaint, BTW?

I became paralysed with indecision as to whether to send them a second letter or not. You've reminded me I should do something, though, so I'm going to send them the second letter I drafted a while ago.

When they send me bland denials in response to that, I'm going to publish the lot on the internet and try and get it easily googlable...

Oh wow, climbing's always been a thing I really wanted to do- it was just that doing it would require my dad to come along and help me and he didn't fancy it (now that I'm old enough to do it myself I'm nowhere near a decent wall!).
